Right around 7:30 PM units from Lower Somerset EMS were dispatched to the 90 block of Somers Cove in the Somers Cove Apartments for a report of a person shot. Units initially staged, for their safety, until the police could arrive on the scene and ensure the scene was safe. When units arrived on the scene they immediately began EMS care for one patient that was found laying in the front yard of one of the homes. The patient was treated on the scene but unfortunately was pronounced deceased
