Lower Somerset EMS responded to the 26,000 block of Cash Corner Road for the report of smoke coming from a home. Chief 2, Frankie Pruitt, arrived on the scene and reported that there was smoke coming from the home. Units from Crisfield Fire Department and Marion Fire Department made quick work of the small fire that appeared to have originated in the kitchen. Several animals were removed from the home unharmed. No injuries to anyone involved.
