Lower Somerset EMS was alerted today at 1255 hours for the report of a house that was on fire in the 3200 block of Lawsonia Road. Crews from Crisfield, Marion, and Fairmont were alerted as well. Units arrived on scene to find smoke showing. An aggressive interior attack conducted by firefighters from the Crisfield Fire Department made short work of the incident. Once pet was rescued from the home. No occupants were home during the incident. One adult and one child will be displaced and American Red Cross will assist the family.
