Right around 0130 hours units from Lower Somerset EMS and surrounding fire departments were alerted to the area of Somerset Avenue and Main Street in Crisfield for the report of a house on fire. First arriving units found a two story, single family dwelling with fire visible on the back of the home. Crisfield Volunteer Fire Department, as well as several surrounding units aggressively attacked the fire and extinguished it quickly. Fire Chief F. Pruitt had command. Cause of the fire was determined suspicious and command requested the State Fire Marshal. No reported injuries.
