Lower Somerset EMS is proud to announce the arrival of our brand new 2021 Horton Ambulance. This ambulance sits on a 2021 Ford F550 4x2 chassis. We are able to get this ambulance due to hard work by President Nelson applying for, and being awarded, grants such as the Covid Cares grant and from generous donations from the community we serve. The new ambulance is state of the art and includes a power load stretcher and UV light system in the air handling components of the ambulance which helps alleviate Covid and other viruses in the air. The total cost for this unit was $326,000.
